It’s been a pretty exciting week for LEGO fans, as we got some new reveals of upcoming sets from the Mario Kart, One Piece, and Ideas themes – including the MAR10 Day minifigure teaser. Well now, the LEGO Group has dropped another tantalizing teaser video for its Jurassic World theme, but with far less mystery – plus, it’s taking us back to the movie that started the entire franchise! LEGO’s latest teaser video is pretty much giving us the full reveal of a new Jurassic World set, minus any actual information on features, prices, or release dates. Still, in the video below, you’ll see LEGO bringing one of the most iconic scenes into the advertisement – namely when Dennis Nedry meets his end via the Dilophosaurus inside the park’s Jeep.
And by the looks of it, there’s going to be a nice Technic build here, which usually includes functional parts like steering, engines, suspension, and the like, but we’ll have to wait for more information to be released before we know for certain. No idea if we’ll be getting Nedry or Dilophosaurus minifigures, either, but the snapshot of the box we got doesn’t seem to be showing any. It does, however, show that a road sign will be included.
You can even tell this is going to be a popular set when it releases, as countless fans are expressing their excitement (and long-time waiting) for this very scene to get the brick-built treatment in the Instagram comments.
