Part of Aventon’s latest new-gen wave of smart e-bikes, the Aventure 3 is the more affordable all-terrain ride (with either step-over or step-through frame options) under the most premium Aventure M mid-drive model. That’s not to say you aren’t getting a more premium experience here over many competitor e-bikes, as it comes with smart features including GPS tracking, an integrated rear wheel lock, in-app ride tune customization, a cross-model keyless battery, and more.
It bears a 750W rear hub motor (1,188W peak) that is powered by a 733Wh battery in order to hit max 20 to 28 MPH speeds and assist your pedaling up to 65 miles on each full charge, with a throttle available for pure electric riding at a cost to mileage. What’s particularly nice here is the inclusion of both a cadence and a torque sensor, which you can freely switch between as you need to adapt to various terrains. Other mechanical features include puncture-resistant tires, hydraulic disc brakes, a Shimano 8-speed Altus derailleur, a rear cargo rack, a full-color LCD screen, and much more.
