Amazon just officially announced Prime Day 2026 for June

Just as we expected and just as early leaks suggested, Amazon Prime Day is now official for June. Typically landing in July, Amazon has officially announced that Prime Day 2026 will indeed take place in June this year.

Last year, and for years before that, Amazon Prime Day was a 2+ day sale event that took place every July – it is, was, and will effectively be Black Friday in July.

Amazon has now taken to its official feed to break the news someone already leaked about a month ago that Prime Day will be taking place roughly a month early this year.

It has once again decided to announce what month it will be taking place in first, and not provide specific dates, but we are currently banking on a 4-day event kicking off on June 23, or that is, at least, what we have heard around the water cooler.

All of the deals will be found on this page, and will of course be working around the clock to uncover the very best of them the second they go live.

Updating…

This is not just a U.S event, as per usual. Amazon says Prime Day 2026 will take place in 26 countries around the world including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States. Prime members in Australia, Brazil, India, and “Japan will be able to shop Prime Day deals later this summer.”

More details will be inbound soon, but as of right now Amazon is keeping official start date close to the chest.
