ECOVACS is well known for its fleet of robot cleaners and mowers, and today the brand has officially thrown its hat into the pool cleaning ring with the launch of its new ULTRAMARINE P1 robotic pool cleaner that was first revealed at CES 2026. This new affordable pool cleaning solution is finally hitting the market, bringing along the brand’s decades of robotic experience together with designs for more accessible pricing – just in time for the swimming season. Head below to get a full rundown on what you can expect, as well as where to pick one up for your own summer needs.
ECOVACS ULTRAMARINE P1 has entered the pool arena
ECOVACS is putting the ULTRAMARINE P1’s suction power front and center, boasting a 4800GPH UltraPure Suction tech that is produced from the “high-performance motor and optimized S-flow anti-clog channel designed to efficiently extract leaves, sand, and fine debris from every surface of the pool.” It’s been given a dual-layer filter to really bolster this aim, combining a 180-micron outer mesh with a 3-micron ultra-fine inner filter in order to collect and trap a larger array of debris, including fine pollen particulates, which anyone with a pool can tell you piles up quickly in the earlier seasons just as you’re trying to uncover your pool.

It comes bearing four independently operated roller brushes at its front and rear for extra steady traction, more precise turns, and keeping more consistent contact with surfaces. They maintain synchronicity, providing thorough scrubbing along pool floors and walls so you won’t have to frequently get involved by manually scrubbing things.
There’s also a SmartNavi Intelligent Navigation System here that comes powered by an advanced IMU sensor, letting it continuously track its own position and appropriately plan for the most efficient paths to clean. Unlike many lower-priced robots that randomly wander or bump around until the work is eventually (and unpredictably) finished, the ULTRAMARINE P1 reaches more systematically precise maneuverability to cut out redundancy and avoid leaving behind untouched spots, with ECOVACS claiming it to achieve “99% floor coverage.”
Speaking of pool surfaces, the ULTRAMARINE P1 is designed to tackle a wider array – as pools can often come with as many variances as humans these days – from fiberglass all the way to pebble-stones. The navigation mentioned above is able to drive it to cover floors, walls, platforms, and slopes, while the obstacle-assist wheels allow it to cross over obstacles that are up to 2.2 inches off the surface. This means your pool drains and even underwater lights will be getting the treatment, too.

There is an onboard 5,200mAh lithium battery that powers its systems for up to three hours when set to its Eco mode, which delivers up to 1,938 square feet of cleaning on each full charge. This cordless design is more and more popular these days, as many pool owners are sick of having to untangle hoses from cheap cleaners, not to mention it saves on electricity costs as you don’t need to have the pool pump constantly running alongside the cleaner.
ECOVACS has also made the ULTRAMARINE P1’s durability a main focus point, too, as it brings along a comprehensive 10-tier system “engineered for long-lasting, worry-free performance.” There’s a marine-grade shell to resist chlorine, UV rays, and physical impact, made up of 316 stainless steel and titanium alloy cores to prevent rust and corrosion.
It boasts an IP68 waterproof construction rating, multi-layer O-ring precision sealing, and a pressure-sealed lithium-ion battery to ensure safe and reliable long-term operations. The IMU and sensors work in conjunction to avoid trap zones while also protecting the motor and lending towards the optimization of its cleaning routes, which further helps to reduce the mechanical wear over time. The design even comes with more maintenance-friendly components, including an easy-clean filter basket, so the amount of upkeep you’ll have to do is at the minimum.

Of course, like every other one of the brand’s robots, this one also comes with in-app smart controls, allowing you to essentially put it on autopilot and take back more time in your day. There are three cleaning modes (floors, walls, full pool) to switch between, as well as three varying efficiency levels. You can give it one-time commands for cleaning, or create repeating schedules for more consistency, keep the water swim-ready for any time the moment hits you to dive right in.
You can currently find the ECOVACS ULTRAMARINE P1 Robot Pool Cleaner available for purchase at $499.99 shipped both at ECOVACS.com and through its Amazon storefront.
