Amazon’s Blink smart home brand is perhaps best known for its affordability in the intelligent home camera space. It delivers range of both indoor and outdoor cameras you can often times score for as low as $20 on Amazon, and today it is introducing its very first 2K video doorbells.
The new lineup lands this morning with a pair of options – the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ and Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+. And despite the upgraded video resolution here, we are still looking ultra affordable pricing here starting at just $39.99 shipped on Amazon (or $50 with the Sync Module).

Blink describes its first wired-only doorbell as delivering “always-on power and upgraded performance” and a value-packed price. This one is designed for homes with existing doorbell wiring to deliver 2K resolution with “clear video in both bright and challenging conditions.”
The Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ is much of the same, just without the need of existing wiring, so anyone can just charge it up, stick it on the front porch, and go. The new 2K resolution is in place here alongside head-to-toe field of view “that helps you see visitors and packages more completely” as well as “better visibility in bright or low-light environments.”
The new Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ and Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ are available for pre-order on Amazon starting today and will begin shipping later this month on May 20.
Updating…
In the U.S., the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ and Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ introduce a smart alert refresh with cloud-based smart video descriptions (with a Blink AI Basic or Blink AI Plus subscription*). This feature provides concise summaries of motion events, helping customers quickly understand what’s happening at their front door without needing to watch the entire clip.
