This deal might not last for long if the deals we featured this morning are any indication. The base model 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with the Midnight finish just hit its best price ever at $199 off. 

Amazon is now offering the Midnight 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB storage capacity down at $1,099.99 shipped. 

Regularly $1,299, this is just shy of $200 off the list price and the best deal we have tracked to date on this configuration. 

You’re looking at the most affordable 15-inch M5 MacBook Air you can buy – Apple upgraded the base models from the old 256GB of storage up to 512GB this generation. 

We saw this same deal land on all colors this morning, except for the Midnight we have here this afternoon. While some of those offers jumped back up in price quite quickly, and this one might very well too, the Midnight has now joined the Amazon all-time low party at $199 off the list price. 

We will keep this one short and sweet in case the price jumps back up on you before we can get this post up, but you are looking at a particular notable price drop for quite possibly could the best deal (or within $1 of it) we expect to see until Black Friday (or something along those lines).
