It’s too good to pass up this deal on Nikon’s full-frame Z 5 camera body at $897 with a free SanDisk Extreme Pro card

We just spotted a deal at B&H that gets you Nikon’s Z 5 full-frame mirrorless camera body, bundled with a few basic accessories, for $896.95 shipped. Originally priced at $1,400, this entry-level camera has more recently been selling for around $1,147. That’s already a great price for a full-frame compared to the newer cameras out there, but dropping below $900 makes it a much more compelling option for anyone who was considering an APS-C body purely to keep costs down. Amazon is also matching the $897 price as part of its early Prime Day deals, but that listing does not include the SanDisk 64GB SD card or camera bag included with the B&H bundle. Head below for more details.

The Z 5 may not be the newest full-frame camera in Nikon’s lineup now that the Z 5 II is here, but it’s still worth considering, especially at its discounted price today. You are getting a 24.3MP full-frame sensor, in-body image stabilization, dual SD card slots, a solid electronic viewfinder, and access to Nikon’s growing Z-mount lens system. It remains a capable option over many other APS-C models in this price range for travel, portraits, landscapes, and everyday photography, where its image quality matters far more than some other features. The newer Z 5 II brings meaningful upgrades in speed, subject detection, and video, but the original Z 5 still covers the basics well and leaves more room in the budget for a better lens for someone stepping into full-frame photography.

If you’re looking for more deals on cameras, the DJI Osmo Action 4 Essential bundle is worth picking up at $169. It also remains a solid pick for folks who don’t want all the bells and whistles of the latest models, and it’s down from its usual price of $255.

Nikon Z 5 full-frame mirrorless camera features:

  • 24.3MP Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera | Nikon’s most compact, lightweight full-frame interchangeable lens Z series camera
  • Outstanding Image Quality | Sharp, lifelike details, vibrant colors and great low-light performance
  • 4K/30p and 1080/60p Video Recording | Crisp, smooth videos with shallow depth of field; USB power delivery; HDMI output
  • Eye-Detection Autofocus | Automatically locks onto the eyes of people, dogs and cats and tracks them as they move around the frame
  • 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization | Capture steady handheld videos and sharp photos; shoot at slower shutter speeds in low light without causing camera blur
  • Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth | Use Nikon’s free SnapBridge app to share photos and control the camera with a compatible smartphone or tablet
