Segway is offering a larger-than-ever $900 discount on its Xafari all-terrain smart cruiser e-bike for a new $1,500 low

As part of Segway’s ongoing Back to School EV Sale that is offering up to 46% discounts, as well as the pre-order deal on the new Max G3 Plus Electric Scooter, the brand has increased savings on its Xafari All-Terrain Fat Tire Cruiser e-bike to $1,499.99 shipped in both its silver and red colorways. It fetches $2,400 outside of sales, but has been spending a significant time this summer discounted down to $1,550, while the red colorway only ever dropped as far as $1,800. Now, however, both colorway options are getting the same $900 markdown, landing them at a new all-time low price.

While it isn’t as premium of an option as the Xyber e-bike (which is also currently down at a new all-time low price), the Segway Xafari e-bike is a more accessible ride that still boasts plenty more features than competitors in this same price range. For one, there is a 936Wh battery here that keeps the 750W rear hub motor running for up to 88 miles of travel after charging for six hours, with a top speed of 20 MPH. Its twelve riding levels come ready to pedal assist across varying terrain types, with the system presided over by a torque sensor.

It’s been designed for the wide array of everyday riders rather than being a more niche-focused bike for thrill seekers, complete with smart features like Airlock wireless proximity security, an alarm system, Apple Find My, GPS, adaptive pedal assistance, an Intelligent Ride System, and more. Other features include an 80mm front/70mm rear suspension, an adjustable compression damping and lock-out fork, and 26-inch by 3-inch all-terrain tires for smoother rides.
