If you’re in the market for a proper Thunderbolt 5 dock for your Mac setup, some of those budget models can really just end up being more of a headache than not in my experience. This highly-capable 2026 model HyperDrive Next Thunderbolt 5 Dock with SSD Enclosure, however, is very much up to the task and it has now dropped back down to its Amazon all-time low.
Amazon is now once again offering the 2026 HyperDrive Next Thunderbolt 5 Dock with SSD Enclosure down at $319.99 shipped.
Regularly $400, this is $80 off the list price and matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon. Today’s deal is, in fact, on par with this year’s Prime Day discount and among the first chances to save any cash on it at all since release in early spring 2026.
We are still talking about a price high-end docking solution here, but as mentioned above, I have tried to go cheap on these things in the past and it rarely works out. Be it the monitor support, power pass through capabilities, or the build itself, docking solutions, especially for Mac users, are one of a few product categories I don’t recommend the bargain bin.
Alongside the 120Gbps Thunderbolt 5 action, and hefty metal build, it delivers “Triple High-Res Display Support for Windows PC and MacBook Pro M5 Pro/Max Laptops…Other macOS and Chrome OS devices only support up to two extended displays.”
The built-in M.2 PCIe Gen 4 x4 and Gen 3 Slot is a nice bonus touch here, and a quick rundown for the highlight features can be found below
- 2x Thunderbolt 5 Downstream
- 3x USB-A (10Gbps)
- RJ-45 2.5Gbps Ethernet
- 3.5mm Audio
- Nano + Standard Security Lock Slots
- 140W power passthrough
- DC 20V Power Supply
