After we got a teaser video last week that sent builders into excitement, the LEGO Group has officially revealed the first addition to the new Dragon Ball theme with the 11390 Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku set. This new build comes as one of the most requested themes, especially since One Piece got the brick-built treatment. The father of modern manga/anime is finally stepping into the much deserved spotlight, and you can get the full rundown, complete with pictures, below.
Builders have been buzzing in anticipated rumor for months about a possible Dragon Ball set or theme, and last week’s teaser sent all of them frantically trying to figure out just what would be the very first set to arrive before a leak yesterday finally revealed what we could expect. Now, the influential manga/anime series by Akira Toriyama is finally getting the veil lifted off its brick-built treatment with the 1,764-piece 11390 Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku set.
It’s been desperately requested from The LEGO Group for quite sometime, and now you’re getting the iconic magic wish-granting dragon inspired by Eastern Chinese mythology alongside Son Goku in minifigure format, as well as his trusty Nimbus cloud and Power Pole, not to mention the seven Dragon Balls. We’re seeing a brand new wig element created just to bring Goku’s spiky hair to proper life as a minifigure, and the Shenron build provides plenty of presence at 12.5 inches tall.
The best part is you don’t have to wait long at all to get your hands on this set, as it will be available on November 1, 2026 for Insiders and November 4, 2026 for general release at $179.99 shipped.
