Best Buy updates ‘Gameday Tech’ sale: OLED TVs up to $1,200 off, Google models from $140, more

With the early fall Prime Day sale in full swing over at Amazon ahead of the main event, Best Buy is following suit and updating its Gameday tech and NFL kickoff sale ahead of its giant Prime Day competitor event.

Alongside the all-new Kindle e-readers and the all-new Amazon Kindle Click Bluetooth Page-Turn Remote at $35 that are now live and available at both Amazon and Best Buy, the latter has updated its Gameday tech and NFL kickoff sale with new deals.

As you can see above, Best Buy is now highlighting Google TVs as low as $139.99 after savings alongside discounts on Insignia compact refrigerators and beverage coolers, FREE TV installation series, and offers on premium TC models from brands like LG.

This is of course on top of today’s fresh batch of offers in its Deals of the Day section, but there is one very important thing to keep in mind here: We are now less than 72 hours out from the major Best Buy October sale event. It too, much like Amazon, will be launching a giant sale starting first thing next week early Monday morning, and there’s a good chance some of the gear it has on sale right now will be lower in under 3 day’s time. There are certainly some notable price drops up for grabs right now, but some of the TVs might drop another $100 or more starting next week.
