Alongside Amazon’s ongoing early fall Prime Day deals, Walmart is serving up what is arguably the best QD-OLED gaming monitor deal we’ve seen, with Acer’s 27-inch Nitro VG277U down at $269 shipped. This is one of the newer models in Acer’s more affordable Nitro lineup, and it normally fetches $350, which is already a pretty solid price for a QD-OLED display. Today’s deal, however, knocks $81 off that price to deliver nearly 25% in savings and mark a new all-time low. QD-OLED gaming monitors have certainly been getting more affordable lately, with newer models regularly landing below $500, but $269 is easily the lowest price we’ve tracked on any QD-OLED gaming monitor so far. It’s too good to pass up this deal if you’re in the market to buy a new gaming monitor, so be sure to snag it after getting more details below.
Acer’s 27-inch Nitro VG277U is a solid option for folks looking to step up to an OLED display without moving to a larger, more expensive display. It features a 2560 x 1440 QD-OLED panel with a speedy 240Hz refresh rate and an ultra-low 0.03ms response time, making it particularly great for fast-paced and competitive games. It also offers AMD’s FreeSync Premium support to deliver smooth and tear-free gameplay at higher frame rates. You’re also getting a QD-OLED panel here, which delivers the deep blacks and punchy contrast you’d expect from OLED, alongside 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It can hit up to 400 nits of brightness at 10% HDR, too, making HDR games and media look more impactful.
