NVIDIA and Microsoft made a big splash yesterday with the launch of the new RTX Spark-powered Surface Laptop Ultra, and that announcement has now opened the floodgates for a whole new wave of Windows Copilot+ PCs. Microsoft’s model starts at $2,599.99 shipped, but it’s not the only RTX Spark machine up for preorder right now. If you missed the original announcement from earlier this year, RTX Spark is NVIDIA’s new Windows PC platform built around its Arm-based Grace CPU and Blackwell RTX graphics. The laptops launching now use the RTX Spark N1X chip, with configurations topping out at a 20-core CPU, 6,144-core GPU, and up to 128GB of unified memory. The big focus here is local AI and creator workloads, but these are still full Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs with CUDA, DLSS, ray tracing, and the rest of NVIDIA’s usual RTX stack.

These new RTX Spark laptops are set to go head-to-head with the latest Arm-based Windows machines powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 chips, as well as newer offerings from AMD and Intel, while also taking aim at Apple’s M-series MacBooks.
