Amazon’s giant $600 price drop on this M5 Pro MacBook Pro awaits

The all-new HomeView smart display with pre-order discounts is here, alongside the next-gen Apple TV 4K and Apple TV Siri Remote at $59, but don’t forget about the gigantic price drops Amazon is delivering on MacBook this week. There are a couple particularly notable offers live right now, but the best of them has to be this 14-inch M5 Pro model at a giant $600 off the list price.

Amazon is currently offering the 14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and the 2TB storage capacity down at $2,399 shipped.

That’s certainly still no small investment, but we are looking at a regularly $2,999 machine here with a more than impressive $600 discount right now – this is easily one of the best deals ever and one of the best MacBook deals of the year.

As has been the case over the last few months, one of the things that truly determines just how notable a price drop is on gear subject to RAMageddon is how the deal price compares to the pre-price hike offers, and this one is quite favorable.

Considering this machine used to carry a $2,599 list price, this week’s offer is actually $200 under the old MSRP and very close to the lowest price we tracked even before the increases. Only on two occasions have we ever seen this machine sell for less than it is right now and not by a whole lot – the Amazon all-time low for this model is $2,341.

Needless to say and considering there’s no going back in time, this is a seriously notable deal.
