New Monarc battery configurations arrive for Tracer and Marker e-bikes starting from $1,399 ($579 off)

Monarch Bikes is offering new battery configurations for its two e-bikes, providing folks with new low prices. These new options begin with the Tracer Urban Commuter Smart e-bike (no battery) at $1,399 shipped, or you can get it with one battery at $1,649 shipped and 2x batteries at $1,899 shipped. Likewise the Marker All-Terrain Smart e-bike (no battery) starts at $1,499 shipped, or get it with one battery at $1,749 shipped and 2x batteries at $1,999 shipped. Up until now, you could only score them with 2x batteries and occasionally additional free gear at $1,899 and $1,999 rates, but these new bundle options provide the best new prices yet, depending on whether you already have batteries or just want a standard one-battery-one-bike package.

Commuters of the street will find the Tracer smart e-bike as the ideal ride, which normally gets up to 65 miles of travel with a single 15Ah/20Wh battery powering the 750W Bafang B750 rear hub motor (1,638W peak) at up to 28 MPH top speeds. If you’re riding to work, you’ll be able to have the battery fully charged before you leave, as one only needs about three hours to recharge. Even more, this e-bike’s pedal assistance is supported by both a torque and cadence sensor, which you can switch back and forth between as you ride.

Its list of smart features include turn-by-turn navigation, as well as add-on Bluetooth accessories like a rear traffic radar, as well as more additions when paired with a smart helmet. From there, the e-bike’s mechanical features include Kenda K-RAD Tires with pre-installed slime for puncture resistance, a Gneiss reverse-arch suspension fork, hydraulic quad-piston front and rear brakes, a 9-speed Shimano Cues derailleur, integrated front and rear lighting (with brake lighting, hazard lighting, and left/right turn signals), a 330-pound max rider payload, a custom 3.5-inch TouchDisplay, and more.

If you plan to head off the pavement as much as commuting across it, the Marker e-bike is a more appropriate all-terrain ride with up to 60 miles provided from a single battery. It sports the same motor as the above model with a top 28 MPH speed, as well as the two sensors to toggle between and the same suite of smart features.

It has some slight variations on mechanical features, though, which give you a Gneiss reverse-arch suspension fork, custom Kenda all-terrain tires with pre-installed puncture-resistant slime, hydraulic quad-piston front and rear brakes, a 9-speed Shimano Cues derailleur, integrated front and rear lighting (with brake lighting, hazard lighting, and left/right turn signals), a 330-pound max payload, a custom 3.5-inch TouchDisplay, and more.
