Update (1/8 11:25am): We’ve updated this post with the above video from CES 2015

While we previously got a very quick glimpse of the Mortal Kombat X gamepads for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we’ve now seen them being shown off on the show floor today at CES 2015. As expected, the custom controllers feature special button layouts and decals based on the upcoming NeatherRealm fighter, although somewhat different than the “pending approval” models we saw in September…

More details and images below:

Now known as the Mortal Kombat X Official Wired Fight Pad, we can see the specially designed controller will also work with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game as well. It looks as though they are being designed by PDP, who was previously responsible for the Wii U Fight Pads for Super Smash Bros. We are getting the 6-up face button layout on the Xbox One model with LB and RB along the right, as you can see the image above. You’ll also notice the lack of typical analog sticks in favor of a lone D-pad.

Developer NeatherRealm Studios is set to release its 10th main entry in the MK series, Mortal Kombat X,  this April on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Windows.
