With the iPhone 7 officially shipping, accessory makers are now churning out new products to accompany Apple’s latest device. Mophie is showing off its new line of Hold Force Cases that use a modular design for added flexibility. Users simply snap the product around iPhone 7/Plus and add different accessories as needed. At launch, there are three options available.
The Hold Force Powerstation Plus Mini is a battery pack system that brings a 4,000mAh rechargeable battery to your case with Lightning and microUSB connectivity. It has a “slim design” that attaches to the modular case for charging on-the-go. Mophie is also rolling out two other wallet-style accessories as a part of its Hold Force launch. The folio case has a flip-over lid and enough room for three credit cards while the smaller wallet has two slots. Available today, Mophie is selling the base case options for $40 with the battery coming in at $60 and each wallet priced at $20.
The base case fits snugly over your smartphone. Magnetic plates embedded in the back of the case allow you to attach any hold force accessory simply by touching it to the back of the smartphone. Each of the two available models feature an extremely thin, low profile design with raised corners for added protection. Both base case options are available for $39.95.
