Update (1/2 5:00pm): B&H offers the 256GB model for $1,649.99 (Reg. $1,799).

Electronics Valley (99.4% positive feedback, Top-Rated Plus Seller) via eBay Daily Deals offers the recently released Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar 2.9GHz/8GB/512GB SSD (model MNQG2LL/A) for $1,849.99 shipped. The silver model is also available at B&H with potential tax savings (currently backordered). That’s good for $149 off the regular price and the best offer currently available.

Apple’s latest 13-inch MacBook Pro features the much talked about Touch Bar and a redesigned unibody design that is 17% lighter than the previous generation. This model has a 2.9GHz Intel Core i5 Dual-Core processor, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB solid-state drive. Additional features include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, four Thunderbolt 3 ports and the second generation butterfly keyboard.

The Touch Bar places controls right at your fingertips and adapts to different apps to provide useful functions without having to navigate complex menus or memorize keyboard shortcuts. Replacing the function keys in the top row of the keyboard, the Touch Bar features a Retina-quality display and supports multi-touch input. The power button has been upgraded with a Touch ID sensor, so you can quickly log into your MacBook Pro using your fingerprint. You can also use Touch ID to make purchases over the web, thanks to Apple Pay. Touch ID enables a quick, accurate reading of your fingerprint and uses sophisticated algorithms to recognize and match it with the Secure Enclave in the Apple T1 chip.
