Capcom has seen success re-releasing some of its NES classics in the way of the Mega Man Legacy Collection and the DuckTales remaster. While it may not be the new Blue Bomber title we have been asking for, Capcom is set to drop the new Disney Afternoon Collection. It contains 6 Disney NES classics including Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, DuckTales 2, and TaleSpin. More details below:
While we won’t be getting new character models and environments like DuckTales Remastered, we will be getting full 1080p on the original 8-bit sprites and a sweet little rewind feature to give you another shot at a tough platforming section. There will also be a boss rush mode, along with a time attack challenge and Capcom’s usual Museum option containing loads of concept art and more pertaining to each game’s development process.
Capcom’s Disney Afternoon Collection is scheduled for release on April 18th for PS4, Xbox One and PC at $19.99.
