Anker makes some of our favorite iPhone and Android accessories on the market. Atop that list is its PowerLine Lightning cables, which are known for an extra strong design and materials. Anker has now unveiled the second generation, dubbed the PowerLine II Dura that includes a lifetime warranty…
We were able to get our hands on a few of the Lightning variety ahead of its release and we can honestly say that they live up to the hype. Most notably, is the value aspect here. Apple is courageously still charging $19 for a three-foot Lightning cable. Meanwhile, Anker’s latest release starts at $10 and goes up from there. There really is no point in opting for an official cable from Apple at this point. The new Powerline II checks all of the boxes, including MFi-certification and an unobtrusive design that is compatible with most cases. Anker has dropped the braided nylon design on its latest cables in favor of a more traditional plastic coating. If you prefer that look, it’s still available on the PowerLine+ model.
You can grab the new PowerLine II Dura now at Amazon from $9.99 Prime shipped. More colors and styles are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
