A new Star Wars merchandise subscription service launches while Amazon discounts Force Awaken toys

A new official Star Wars subscription service – dubbed Smugglers Bounty – has been announced. It promises to deliver “exclusive, high-quality Star Wars & Funko collectible products”. The new service is available in 12-month or one-time subscriptions. Head below for more details on this and Amazon’s Star Wars toys promotion.

There are two levels of subscription for the Smuggler’s Bounty service. The “Boss Membership” is $150 (plus taxes and shipping) up front for six packages and a free gift. For $25, you can grab a recurring monthly subscription that can be cancelled at anytime. The only different between the two is the unidentified “free gift”, so there isn’t much added value in subscribing for a year. By comparison, the popular service Loot Crate charges nearly half that amount per month.

The description goes on further to promise $50 worth of value in each box with “no fluff or filler”. If you’re interested in trying it for a month, the first box will ship in November. You have until 11/12 to sign up.

Not interested in a subscription service? You can currently pick up some discounted Star Wars toys at Amazon. The online retailer is currently offering $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 worth of Star Wars figurines, lightsabers, collectibles and more. There is a wide selection of products available as a part of this sale. Of course, free shipping is available on orders of $35+ unless you have a Prime membership. Full details below.

Our top pick is the Black Series Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber for $124.99 after the promotional discount is applied. This recently released replica has “realistic” light and movie sound effects, plus a display stand.

For a limited time and while supplies last, buy $50 of select Star Wars Toys, get $10 off. Or buy $100 of select Star Wars Toys, get $25 off. Discount will be applied at Checkout. Here’s how (restrictions apply). Discounts only apply to items sold by Amazon.com and not by a third-party seller.
