The new My Passport Ultra drives also includes automatic backup software to ensure that files stored locally on your computer are saved as well. And for those with privacy concerns, it even sports 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption to keep your files safe.
If you’ve been looking for a new hard drive and want to pickup the My Passport Ultra drive you’re in luck. Available in a few different storage tiers, the drive starts at $80 for 1TB and climb up to $140 for 4TB. In the mid-range, you’ll find 2TB for $100 and 3TB for $130. All four versions are currently available for preorder today over on Western Digital’s site. They’re estimated to ship on July 11th.
