This is a nice alternative if you’re not a fan of snapping MagSafe power banks onto the back of your phone. You’re looking at a compact battery pack, which is roughly the size of a lipstick. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and uses a USB-C port to deliver up to 20W of power. You also get simple LED indicators that let you quickly check how much charge is left.

What we love

This compact Spigen GaN charger delivers up to 35W in a small, travel-friendly design. It has two USB-C ports for charging two devices at once, though output is split when both are in use, topping out at 25W. It’s great for folks looking to pick up a small and reliable everyday charger, and it’s hard to go wrong with it at $10.

Folks who love the great outdoors will find solid power support to keep their phone and other essential personal devices with this EcoFlow Power Hat. It comes lined with solar paneling (as well as IP65 waterproof and dustproof ratings) and provides up to 12W charging speeds through its USB-C and USB-A ports, with the brand claiming it can recharge a phone in about three to four hours. What we love

While this unit may not boast the latest 25W Qi2.2 charging speeds you get with some of the newer options, it still outpaces most alternatives with solid 15W Qi2 support. Also, it’s down to just $15 today, which is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for a 3-in-1 Qi2 charger. The folding design is another win here, making it easy to pack away neatly in a travel bag when you’re on the move.

This 7-in-1 offering packs AC, USB-A, and Type-C ports so you won’t have to fiddle with a bunch of different charging bricks. The built-in USB-C ports top out at 15W, which is enough for smartphones, but if you need more power than that, you can plug a dedicated wall charger in to get the juice you need.

Belkin updated its lineup of wireless magnetic charging stands last summer headlined by the 3-in-1 Belkin UltraCharge Pro 25W. There’s no shortage of slim, pocket-friendly MagSafe power banks out there these days, but most top out at around 5,000mAh. This ultra-thin 0.5-inch model, however, is one of the few that packs a much larger 10,000mAh battery into a similarly compact design. It supports MagSafe wireless charging at up to 7.5W, and it can deliver up to 27W output in wired mode via a Type-C cable.

Today Twelve South is stepping in to the portable charging game again with its new PowerCapsule. We have featured a number of those super handy tracking wallet cards around here – I am a big fan if these things and carry one with me at all times. Today’s smart glasses generally fall into two camps: ones that put a big, wearable display in front of your eyes purely for entertainment, gaming, and media like Viture’s Lumar Ultra, and there are others like the RayNeo X3 Pro we’re checking out today – that aim to deliver practical, everyday AR experiences. I’m already a heavy user of the first kind for daily entertainment, but I’ve yet to see anything truly compelling in the “real” AR space for day-to-day use.
