The new Apple iPhone 4S Worldphone is now available for preorder at The Apple Store, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and Sprint. In black or white, the phones are priced at 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399, both when signing a new 2-year agreement with its respective carrier. Free shipping applies, and sales tax is added where applicable. It’s scheduled for delivery on or around October 14. (Check your carrier for a more detailed delivery date.)

The new iPhone 4S is powered by the Apple A5 dual-core processor and features a new 8-megapixel camera which is capable of recording 1080p video at 30 fps with image stabilization. A dual-antenna system has also been added, which purportedly provides faster downloads and improved call quality on both CDMA and GSM networks. It also features AirPlay Mirroring, Siri voice-activated assistant, an 8-hour battery life, and more.
