App Store Free App of the Week: PDF Expert 5 goes free for the first time ($10 value)

Apple has now handpicked Readdle’s PDF Expert 5 for iPhone and iPad as the new App Store Free App of the Week. Regularly $10, we have seen it dip down to $5 a few times, but this is the very first time the popular app has gone free on the App Store since its release in early 2014. It has a 4.5 star rating from 7,658 reviewers. Compatible with OS X Yosemite and El Capitan, Readdle also launched PDF Expert for Mac just this morning.

    I stopped using PDF Expert because it only allows sync of entire folders and not the single files. Since the amount of storage on IOS devices is limited this doesn’t make much sense. In difference to PDF Expert, GoodReader allows single file sync and its packed with features that are missing on PDF Expert. In addition to that it costs only half of the price of PDF expert (4,99 $).
