Apple’s 21-inch 4K iMac has a beautiful display, save $199 today: $1,300 shipped (Reg. $1,499)

Electronics Valley (99.7% positive feedback from 29,000+) via eBay Daily Deals offers Apple’s 21-inch Retina 4K iMac 3.1GHz/8GB/1TB (model MK452LL/A) for $1,299.99 shipped. For comparison, this Mac has a list price of $1,499. Today’s deal is $80 less than B&H and a match for the best that we’ve seen outside of a one-day student promotion at Best Buy.

This 21.5-inch iMac has a 4K Retina display capable of producing a resolution of 4096-by-2304. It has four USB 3.0 ports, two Thunderbolt 2 ports, SDXC card slot, 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.0. Apple’s latest iMac also includes a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2.

With your savings, there are few ways to improve your new iMac setup. One of my favorite options is the $35 Twelve South BackPack for Mac that adds a matching aluminum shelf to the back for storing external hard drives, managing wires and more. Another handy add-on is Sabrent’s 4-port USB 3.0 Hub that adds I/O to the front of your Mac with its slim and unassuming design. At $30, it’s a must-have for creative professionals that regularly transfer content between devices.

Apple weds high-res 4K visuals into its sleek 5mm thin 21.5″ iMac with Retina 4K Display. With a 4096 x 2304 native resolution, this iMac provides 9.4 million pixels, which is 4.5 times more than the Full HD 1080p 21.5″ iMac. The Retina 4K display also features a wider color gamut. Using a P3-based color gamut, the Retina 4K display provides a 25% larger color space than standard sRGB displays. And with more available colors, the images will appear more vivid and reveal greater detail.
