It’s been far too long since we’ve seen a solid Apple Watch discount. Thankfully, Target is taking $70 off Series 1 models in 38mm and 42mm varieties. Prices start at $199.99 and $229.99, which is a match for our previous mention just before Christmas.

Apple Watch Series 1 includes a dual-core processor (the same one as Series 2) that delivers faster performance to watchOS and third-party apps. You’ll find the same fitness tracking features as the original with heart rate monitoring and iPhone notifications. Check out our hands-on walkthrough for more on the differences between Series 1 and 2.

As always, we recommend picking up a few third-party bands to accessorize your new wearable. We’re huge fans of this Nike look-alike which we recently reviewed (and loved!). It is currently on sale for $5.99, an all-time low.

Stay connected in style with the 42mm Apple Watch Series 1, which comes with a gold anodized aluminum chassis and a Cocoa Sport band. Designed for users looking for the next generation of connectivity, Apple’s Watch moves your iPhone’s apps and functions to your wrist so you can do more while leaving your phone in your pocket. Apple Watch connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth 4.0 and displays notifications, apps, and more on its 1.5″ display. It can also connect directly to the Internet thanks to 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. The internal battery lasts for up to 18 hours of normal use and is recharged with an included inductive magnetic charger.
