Best Target deals

The best deals from Target on Apple, Samsung, Sony, TVs, more

Target is one of the largest retailers in America with a strong online presence alongside brick and mortar locations in nearly every state. On top of offering notable deals on home goods and fashion, Target is home to expansive technology offerings and is a major player every holiday season.

Target’s RedCard program is one of the best loyalty rewards out there, with a consistent 5% off across the board. It’s available in both credit card and debit versions to fit various consumer needs. You can learn more on this sign-up page, which regularly offers extra discounts for new subscribers.

Free shipping is regularly available on orders over $35. Like many other retailers, that minimum is dropped during the holiday season in favor of no-cost delivery. Of course, free in-store pickup is readily available throughout the year. RedCard members receive free shipping every day.

Apple products are regularly discounted, although you won’t find any MacBooks at Target. This retailer is focused on Apple’s iPad and Watch offerings, with a wide selection of current and previous-generation models on sale. Throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you’ll find notable price drops on various Apple products, matching or beating other mainstream retailers.

Target is also the home to discounts on a wide range of categories, including, but not limited to appliances, fashion, toys, and more. It’s also one of the best places to buy a TV throughout the year with many of the best brands represented, such as Sony, Samsung, VIZIO, and more.

Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean Electric Toothbrush now starts from $33 (Reg. $50)

Amazon is now offering the Philips Sonicare HX6817/01 ProtectiveClean 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush for $34.99 shipped when you clip the $5 on-page coupon. However, Target is now matching when you apply code BRIGHT5 at checkout and RedCard holders can knock that total down to $33.24 shipped. Regularly $50, today’s offer is nearly 35% off, within a few bucks of the best Black Friday price, and the lowest we can find. If you’re still on the hunt for an electric toothbrush gift, this might very well be it. Carrying stellar reviews from nearly 34,000 Amazon customers, this one has all of the most important features including smart timers and pressure sensors as well as brush replacement notifications, and 14-days of battery life on a single charge. Target to compete against Amazon and Walmart with its new ‘Plus’ third-party seller program

Much like Apple does with its store catalog, Target reviews and curates the items that make it into its retail and online outlets. Target does this to make the shopping experience a high-end one by weeding out options that are of lesser quality. Naturally this approach has prevented it from letting third-parties sell on its website like Amazon and Walmart currently do.

The company has unveiled a solution that keeps customers from being overwhelmed but also allows it compete on some level. It is called Target Plus (displayed in marketing as Target +) and according to the company, third-party offerings will still be curated in an attempt to keep the shopping experience simple.
