Mercane’s latest product offers something we’re not used to seeing here at Toys, an electric vehicle with more than two wheels. Standing out from others on the market, Transboard’s three-wheeled design aims to provide a more balanced and comfortable ride.
Promising speeds of up to 22 miles per hour within a 25 mile range, Transboard sports three-wheels that makes it easier for riders to keep their balance. While at first glance Transboard may seem a bit bulky, it offers a foldable design to allow for more effortless storage and transportation while not in use. LED head and tail lights illuminate the way in dark or low-light driving conditions which are controlled via an onboard LED display and control system. The display also provides riders with their current speed and other various power measurements.
Early bird pricing starts at $499, and is currently able to be backed over on Indiegogo. Having already reached over 60 percent of its $30,000 funding goal, Transboard still has a month left to complete the campaign. According to Mercane Wheel’s plan, Transboard will be shipping in May, assuming all goes well.
