Nomad is among some of our favorite accessory makers when it comes to Apple’s ever expanding lineup of devices. Its iPhone cases tend to feature premium materials with a solid build quality at a reasonable price tag. While we have already seen the solid gold Birkk design, WaterField’s new iPhone Camera Bag and Moshi’s 2017 lineup, it’s time to look at the new leather Nomad cases…

Luxury Book iPhone 7 Plus Case

If you’re not deciding to save some cash and just stick with iPhone 7 at a discount, you’re more than likely going to need some protection. Nomad makes some fantastic cases, many of which with gorgeous Horween leather finishes along with solid drop protection, and rubber TPE bumpers to keep your screen and camera safe on flat surfaces.

The new line includes the Rugged Leather Case, Clear Leather Case, Leather Wallet Case, Traditional Leather Folio, Clear Leather Folio and more. You’ll also see some of its previous generation options that will work great with your iPhone 8/Plus on sale right now.

The Rugged Leather Case features a protective polycarbonate “fused” with a rubber TPE bumper and a premium vegetable tanned Horween leather finish. According to Nomad, you can expect its leathers to develop a “rich patina”, effectively getting even prettier over time. The $39.95 case is also rated with 10-foot drop protection and a protective microfiber lining.

You can expect much of the same through the rest of the line with a few minor variations. The Clear Leather sports a unique two-tone look with the see-through casing and brown leather accent, while the Leather Wallet and Clear Leather cases add up to 3 credit card slots and 6-foot drop protection. All three go for $39.95.

Lastly, the $49.95 Traditional Leather Folio case does away with the drop protection in favor of a nice fold-over design with 3 credit card slots and a cash pocket.

While all of the new options are specifically for iPhone X, there are several options for iPhone 7/8/Plus users available in, for the most part, the same styles as described above. In fact, at this point Nomad only has brown/clear colorways available for iPhone X. There are some additional options for those opting for the iPhone 8/Plus including the Midnight Blue and Slate Grey Leather variants.

While most of the iPhone 8/Plus cases are in-stock, the iPhone X options can be ordered right now but won’t be shipping until September 22nd, according to listings at the time of writing.
