Amazon now looks to have finalized its list for the best-sellers in gaming for 2017. Nintendo has a number of products in the top 20 alongside hardware from both Sony and Microsoft. On top of that it looks like extra controllers and and PS Plus membership extensions were popular gifts this season…
We expected Switch, its accessories and most popular games to dominate the top of the list, and that they did. Super Mario Odyssey came in at number 3 ahead of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 in the 20th position.
The Sony-exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn and the latest iteration in the Call of Duty series were the only PS4/Xbox One titles that made the top 20.
On top of that, Sony’s PS Plus memberships and PSN gift cards likely made it into a whole lot of stockings this year as the best selling items in gaming on Amazon.
