For me at least, I wouldn’t typically reach for a carbon fiber watch band. On the list of materials, it’s not at the top of my list. Having not spent a lot of time with the material, I had a few preconceived notions that I think our readers may have as well. At the forefront was my concern that carbon fiber would prove to be an itchy and inflexible material for a watch band. Turns out, that’s not true.
The outer part of the band, which is covered in carbon fiber, is smooth to the touch. It’s hard to describe the consistency of the material, but I was quick to realize that my concerns beforehand were nothing to worry about.
I didn’t have any issue with clothes getting snagged or any overall discomfort. One way that Clockwork Synergy puts comfort at the forefront is the use of leather on the interior as the main material holding the band together.
I’m a huge fan of the stitching around the outside of the band. Colors like orange, red and blue really make it pop off the carbon fiber material. It takes it from a potential bland design to another level that stands out from the competition.

On many of Clockwork’s other watch bands, they’ve elected for a beefier buckle that is more in line with what you’d see on traditional timepieces. This time around on the carbon fiber band, they’ve elected for one that is far more minimal. It comes in five different finishes including stainless steel and a variety of colors.
Much of the same can be said for the adapters. You have seven different color options a few materials available to choose from. I appreciate that Clockwork Synergy gives this type of flexibility on its watch bands, allowing shoppers to find just the right combination for their style.
