Top 5 Xbox One Accessories: Controllers, charging, more

If you’ve been wondering what to get next for your Xbox One, we’re here to help. We have experience when it comes to accessories, and are here to give you our top 5. From controllers to charging stations, we’ve got it all in today’s roundup, so keep reading to find out what our top 5 Xbox One accessories are.

Xbox One Elite Controller

Okay, this one is fairly obvious. Everyone knows how awesome the Xbox One Elite Controller is, but I’m here to tell you that yes, it really is that awesome. It saddens me that I don’t have an option like this on PlayStation, but it makes me want to play Xbox more, honestly. The Elite Controller has a fantastic build quality, and robust feature set.

You can customize the button layouts within the settings of your Xbox One, and you can even use the paddles on the bottom of the controller for custom button mapping, giving you the edge needed to be #1 in any game.

SCUF Professional Controller

This is for those who don’t want the Xbox One Elite Controller. The SCUF Professional Controller is slightly more affordable than the Elite Controller on some setups and has a much different feel. While there’s only one style of the Elite Controller, SCUF has near limitless options for personalizing the controller to your heart’s content.

SCUF has a great built quality and awesome features, including the buttons on the bottom of the controller which can be remapped just the same. I will say, however, that the SCUF controllers feel appreciably lighter than the Xbox Elite Controller.

PowerA Complete Power Station: $40

This is a must-have in my opinion. The main reason I chose this dock was for Xbox One Elite Controller compatibility. It’s hard to find a good dock that can work with the Elite Controller, and this one does it wonderfully.

Yes, there are more budget-friendly options out there, but I would prefer not having to change the batteries in my Elite Controller all the time, so this is the only option in my book. It looks great, functions flawlessly, and oh, you can even charge your headphones on it too. Rated 4/5 stars.

Toast Skin

This isn’t an Xbox One exclusive, but I love Toast products. Toast makes real wood skins for a multitude of devices, and they can both help your tech stand out or blend in, depending on what your preferences are. We went hands-on with the Toast skin for Xbox One X a few months ago, and absolutely loved it. Check out our full hands-0n here or watch the video below.

KontrolFreek

Ok, no console accessory roundup is complete without KontrolFreek, I don’t think. These are great ways to get the edge in any game without buying price new controllers like the Elite or SCUF.

KontrolFreek are designed to give you a leg up on the competition in different games. I have a few different KontrolFreeks that I’ll use when gaming, depending on what genre I’m in.

The Speed Freek is great for racing games and can help you have exact control of the car when steering, while my favorite, the FPS Freek, is great for shooters where accuracy is a must-have on the battlefield.
