Another great read that I recently finished was The Last Mrs. Parris by Liv Constantine. Amber comes from a very small town and now that she’s older, she’s determined to make a better life for herself. She flees her town, where she meets rich-beyond-belief Daphne Parrish, her husband and their two children. They seem like the perfect family, not to mention they’re surrounded by extreme wealth that Amber could only dream of. Amber’s jealousy is at an all time high, and she has a plan to make her new friends life all hers. This novel had me on my toes the entire time.
Lastly, if you’re a sports fan, the new Believe It: My Journey of Success, Failure, and Overcoming the Odds by Nick Foles shares his story being the star quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles. The story of how Nick, who was on the verge of retirement, due to an ACL tear just two seasons earlier, found the strength to rally those around him and achieve a Superbowl title.
