Just in time for fall fashion, Madewell, one of my personal favorite stores for women, recently launched a menswear line and your closet will soon thank you. The new line is revamping everyday basics such as versatile denim in an array of styles, as well as wardrobe staples including hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts, jackets and even sneakers. Pricing for the men’s collection ranges from $40 to $158 for select denim. Plus, the entire line will also be available at Nordstrom’s online and in-store. “Our goal was to make a wearable collection, rooted in denim,” says Madewell president Libby Wadle. “These are classic-meets-modern pieces that fit exactly the way our Madewell guy would want them to, in washes that only get better with age.”
One of our favorite sections from this collection is the denim. From experience, my favorite pair of women’s jeans are from Madewell and the new collection features three styles for men. You can choose from skinny, slim or straight and each are infused with stretch to give them a worn-in feel. Our favorite pair are the Selvedge Slim Jeans that are priced at $158. You can easily wear these jeans with sneakers or boots alike and I love that with this style, you can roll the hem for an on-trend look.
Another favorite pair are the Straight Jeans in Well Worn for $128. The dark wash will give you a polished look and these jeans were designed for muscular builds and feature more room in the hip and thigh for added comfort. Plus, the Straight Jeans would also look great with all of your jackets and flannels for fall weather.
In search of a new jacket for fall? Look no further than the Madewell Classic Denim Jacket, that will be timeless to wear for years to come. Its oversized fit looks great paired under a hoodie for cool weather and it also features deep interior pockets for your phone or keys.
