KORG has some of the best sound modules, synthesizers and recording software out there when it comes to iOS. We became huge fans of KORG Gadget after sitting down with it for Logic Pros and have had a great time with the rest of its Mac/iOS software lineup. While there are a host of IAP expansion packs available here, that’s pretty standard procedure for just about any virtual instrument/synth on any platform. This one comes with a nice collection right from the get-go that will have you recording immediately.
While it will work with most iOS compatible MIDI keyboard controllers, it is specifically designed for KORG’s excellent microKEY. Both the $73 wired option and the $145 wireless model are great choices for mobile and Mac.
