While much of the attention goes to Amazon, eBay, Walmart and the other major national retailers on Black Friday, don’t forget about the little guys. Amazon’s online sister-site Woot provides countless notable price drops throughout the year and this year will be no exception. While its offerings tend to be a mixed bag across just about every product category, Woot Black Friday sales can be a great place to get huge deals on niche gear and products that might not be as readily available at other retailers.
When is Black Friday at Woot?
Woot’s main online deals kicked off right on Thanksgiving morning last year, with new deals added every day that weekend and through Cyber Monday.
Woot Free Shipping
In the Woot Black Friday 2017 sale, it offered $5 flat rate shipping with a twist. You only had to pay $5 once, then all of your purchases through Black Friday weekend were shipped free. However, that was back when it was standard for Woot to offer $5 flat rate shipping. We are expecting this year to be different considering it now offers free shipping for Amazon Prime members. If it ends up remaining the same over Black Friday and you don’t want to get hit with the new $6 delivery fee, make sure your Amazon Prime membership is in order. How to save at Woot on Black Friday
Well, as we mentioned above there are no real tricks to saving more at Woot outside of having an Amazon Prime membership and being quick. We are expecting to see a large selection of timed deals (think Amazon Lightning deals) on top of a static list of quick to go out of stock goodies. Keeping it locked to 9to5Toys is really the best way to get the most out of Woot Black Friday 2018.
Will there be Woot doorbusters?
Not really. Woot is an online storefront only so you won’t see your typical doorbuster deals. But as we mentioned above, there will most likely be timed Woot-Off deals you’ll need to make sure you get a jump on before they go out of stock or the deal ends.
Will Woot price match competitors on Black Friday?
Woot doesn’t traditionally price match for Black Friday or anytime really. But we tend to see it beat out Amazon quite often on home goods or even previous generation Apple gear and electronics.
What will be on sale at Woot Black Friday?
Woot Black Friday will have quite an assortment of various deals available, much like it does throughout the year. That includes everything from headphones, Bluetooth speakers and cameras to home goods, apparel, wine, sporting goods and much more. While many of the big ticket items will be widely available for less at Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target and more, we are expecting to see Woot offer some major deals on home goods and outdoor equipment. Last year it advertised (on its blog) the lowest prices it has ever offered on Dyson vacuums and YETI coolers.
