Update 12/12 @ 1:45 PM: Monoprice is offering the Ring Video Doorbell 2 for $129.99 shipped when checking out with code PAYPAL20 and paying with PayPal. That knocks an extra $20 off the going rate and is $19 under the B&H mention below. It’s also one of the best we’ve seen this year.
B&H offers the Ring Video Doorbell 2 for $149 shipped. That’s good for a $50 discount from the going rate at Amazon and is just above our previous Black Friday mention. Upgrade to Ring’s Video Doorbell Pro at $199. That takes $50 off the going rate found at Amazon and is the lowest price we’ve seen since October. Both models offer Alexa integration, motion alerts, two-way audio, and more, but the Pro version includes dual-band Wi-Fi support, 30 days of free cloud storage and more. Ring’s video doorbells both carry 4/5 star ratings from a combined 16,000+ customers.
If both options are a little too pricey for you, there’s also the original Ring Video Doorbell at $100. The main downgrade here is you’ll only be able to record in 720p versus the inclusion 1080p video with the 2 and Pro models. But at nearly 30% under the cost of the Doorbell 2, it’s a solid tradeoff for a more budget-conscious shopper.
Ring Video Doorbell Pro features:
- Camera & Doorbell to Monitor Front Door
- 1920 x 1080 Video Resolution
- IR LEDs for Night Vision
- 160° Field of View
- 2-Way Audio & Noise Cancellation
- Comes with 30 Days of Cloud Storage
- Motion Detection with Programmable Zones
- -5° to 120°F Operating Temp
- Includes Four Interchangeable Faceplates
- Requires Existing Hardwired Doorbell
