As it does each year, Amazon Digital Day will once again take place during the last week of December. This time around Amazon is promising that its third annual digital goods sale will be the largest in history, with deals on movies, TV shows, mobile games, apps, eBooks, and more. Amazon Digital Day is December 28th, 2018

When Amazon Digital Day started three years ago, it was a rather paltry sale with just a handful of discounts on movies and eBooks. It has since grown into an all-encompassing event that rivals some of Amazon’s biggest sales throughout the year. In fact, Amazon Digital Day isn’t just limited to content, this time around we’re going to get deals on Fire Tablets and more, too.

Aaron Rubenson, Vice President, Digital, App, and Game Services explains further:

“Amazon Digital Day continues to provide great deals on digital content. We’re excited to help customers add new apps, games, movies, eBooks, Audible books, and more to their current device or the latest Amazon Fire tablet, Fire TV, or Kindle they just received over the holidays.”

This year, Amazon Digital Day sales will be available on more than just Amazon’s traditional online storefront. Discounts will be extended to Fire and Kindle devices, Fire TV as well as iOS and Android phones. In that regard, this is the most wide-ranging sale we’ve seen to date from Amazon’s digital services category.

What’s on sale during Amazon Digital Day?

Nearly all of Amazon’s digital offerings will be on sale, including movies, TV shows, books and more. Additionally, Amazon is planning on discounting various apps like Turbo Tax and ABC Mouse, among others. There will also be deals on Audible, FreeTime Unlimited, and more services throughout this event.
