If you own a Wyze Cam Pan, you’ve likely tried to find a good way to mount it. It’s not quite as easy to stick up as its little brother, the Wyze Cam, with its magnetic base and easy-to-move mount, but the Wyze Cam Pan features a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom for easy mounting. Well, Wyze now offers an official mounting solution for just $9.

Wyze Cam Pan mounting kit becomes official

While Amazon is full of Wyze Cam Pan mounting kits, there has yet to be an official solution until now. This kit direct from Wyze (and not available on Amazon at the time of writing) will set you back $8.99 with $4.99 shipping. That’s a little more expensive than some of the Amazon kits, but offers a clean package and official stamp of approval.

The kit is quite simple. There’s the wall mount that screws wherever you need it, and then you simply twist the Wyze Cam Pan onto it. Since the Pan can move around, it doesn’t have to be perfectly level in order to be usable, since you can just move the lens around as needed to get a great view.

This is the perfect option for those who are trying to keep watch on their home without breaking the bank. The Wyze Cam Pan is just $38 shipped at Amazon, sports free 7-day rolling recording with an option for an SD card for longer video sessions, and is even compatible with Amazon’s Alexa smart assistant for notifications and viewing.

Wyze includes a 15-foot MicroUSB cable in the package with the mount, giving you extra length to power your Pan. Plus, the 1/4-20 mount that screws into the Pan is magnetic to the mount, meaning it’s easy to remove the Pan should you need to check the SD card or want to take it down for whatever reason.
