Adonit launches new dark brass magnetic Note+ 2 Apple Pencil alternative for iPad users at $70

Adonit Note+ 2 Apple Pencil alternative

Adonit is known around here for delivering its own Apple Pencil alternatives, alongside options for Android and Windows machines, but today it is unveiling its latest, the Note+ 2. An upgrade and enhanced version of its Note+ digital writing utensil, it is described as an “advanced stylus” with three interchangeable tips, tilt recognition for tablet writing, sketching, note-taking, and more. Specifically geared towards iPad users, the new Adonit Note+ 2 Apple Pencil alternative is going up for purchase starting today and you can get a complete look at what it brings to your setup down below.

New Adonit Note+ 2 Apple Pencil alternative

Adonit makes a wide range of digital stylus solutions, from the entry-level Adonit Mark aluminum option at $8 Prime shipped to the now first-generation Note+ and its AI-Vocal Smart Voice Active Stylus at $85, but today it is focused on its latest mid-tier model with the new Note+ 2.

Adonit says its latest writer is compatible with various note-taking and illustration apps, including Concepts and Noteshelf 2, to deliver a universal “tool for writing, sketching, and more.” It provides up to eight hours of usage from a 60-minute charge over USB-C (or one hour of usage from a 5-minute charge) alongside a magnetic attachment feature “to ensure users can always find their stylus on the edge of their tablet.”

The pressure sensitivity, tilt recognition, and palm rejection one would expect in this price range are all in place, and users can leverage Bluetooth pairing for some handy shortcut action too – “seamlessly connect a device and enjoy the convenience of customizable shortcuts for quick access to frequently used functions.”

Here’s a quick glance at the feature set here:

  • Three Interchangeable Pen Tips: Experience the versatility of soft, medium, and hard tips that cater to different artistic styles and preferences.
  • Magnetically Attach: With its magnetic attachment feature, the Adonit Note+ 2 seamlessly adheres to tablets.
  • Pressure Sensitivity, Tilt Recognition & Palm Rejection: Capture every subtle nuance of strokes with precision, while the palm rejection technology makes sure no unwanted lines appear.
  • Bluetooth Pairing With Multiple Shortcuts: Seamlessly connect a device and enjoy the convenience of customizable shortcuts for quick access to frequently used functions.
  • Quick Charge Via Type-C: Recharge the stylus in no time. The Type-C connection provides fast and efficient charging, allowing for less time waiting and more time creating.
  • Supported Apps: Compatible with a wide range of supported apps, providing endless creative possibilities.
