The annual PlayStation Days of play sale has now been made official, and Sony isn’t giving us much time to prepare this year. Everything starts tomorrow with big time price drops across the PlayStation verse, including everything from PlayStation 5 hardware and games through to PS VR2 offers, PS Plus upgrades, and more. PlayStation 2024 Days of Play sale
While this late in the console cycle these big-time Days of Play sale events seem somewhat less exciting (at least for me), there’s still a ton of deals available for shoring up your game catalog or even scoring an extra PS5, among other things.
It’s another exciting year for PlayStation fans with Days of Play 2024 kicking off this week! This year’s Days of Play activities are bigger than ever with challenges, offers on hardware and games, content offerings, and more.
The worldwide Days of Play tradition started seven years ago in celebration of the PlayStation gamer base. This year, much like previous events, will include special activities and discounts across PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Stars, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Gear, and retailers online.
Everything starts on May 29 at 12:01 a.m. and runs through until June 12 at 11:59 p.m.
Alongside a host of activities, freebie avatars, additions to the PlayStation Plus catalog, and more, there will also be straight up cash discounts and offers starting from tomorrow via “direct.playstation.com (available in select markets) and participating local retailers”
They breakdown as follows:
- $50 off PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition
- $100 off PlayStation VR2 and PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle
- $20 off select titles including:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered
- MLB The Show 24
- MLB The Show 24: The Negro Leagues Edition
- Rise of the Ronin
As for the deals exclusive to direct.playstation.com, you’ll find those listed below:
- $10 off all PlayStation 5 Console Covers
- $80 off Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition – PS5
- PlayStation Plus members will also get an exclusive deal for purchasing a PS5 console or a PS VR2 headset through direct.playstation.com. PlayStation Plus members who sign in with their PlayStation account and purchase a PS5 or PS VR2 through direct.playstation.com will get 12 months of Netflix Premium. PlayStation Plus members can take advantage of this promotion during Days of Play from May 29 – June 12! Offer applies to new and existing Netflix subscribers. Terms and conditions apply.
Days of Play PlayStation Plus deals:
New players joining the service between tomorrow and June 8 will “save up to 30% on a 12-month membership plan” while current members can “get 25% off PlayStation Plus Extra, or save 30% off Playstation Plus Premium for the remainder of their membership when they upgrade their memberships between May 29-June 12.“
