The main Summer Game Fest event is now behind us, Xbox hosted hosted a completely epic showcase over the weekend with the new all-digital white Series X and the Galaxy Black special edition model, but now it’s time for Ubisoft. The 2024 summer Ubisoft Forward showcase event is set to go live today with updates on what’s next for one of the industry’s biggest publisher/developers. Everything kicks off at 12:00 p.m. PT/3:00 p.m. ET and we will be following along with you down below.
Ubisoft Forward 2024 Showcase – Assassin’s Creed, Star Wars Outlaws, and more
The 2024 Ubisoft Forward will likely be the publisher’s biggest event of the year, headlined with what has been called “the reveal of the extended walkthrough” for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. After being teased years ago, Ubisoft officially unveiled the new Ninja-Samurai AC title back in mid-May shortly before pre-orders went up in anticipation of the November 15, 2024 release date.
We are also expecting to see more gameplay for XDefiant and Geoff Keighley already promised a more complete, and likely gameplay-based, look at Star Wars Outlaws (pre-orders include a FREE $10 Best Buy gift card right now) for today’s show as well. From there, it’s anyone’s guess, but for me personally, the two games I was really hoping to see more of this year were Metal Gear Solid Delta – Xbox delivered on that yesterday – and the Splinter Cell remake which could be happening as part of today’s Ubisoft Forward event.
