You know we love our Harber London gear around here – supple, handmade leather carriers and Apple gear accessories that truly stand the test of time. I adore its iPhone 15 pouches, much like its new leather iPad covers, and, perhaps even more so, its leather MacBook backpacks. Well, it also makes gorgeous leather AirTag accessories, but if the price scared you away on the rest of its gear, you might want to close your eyes before you see the list on its brand new handmade leather Luggage Tag for AirTag (even with the 15% launch deal). For everyone else, check it out down below.
Harber London’s gorgeous leather Luggage Tag for AirTag is ummm…expensive
Before we dive into how ridiculous the price is for this AirTag holder, let’s also keep in mind this is a gorgeous handmade piece of leather craftsmanship that’s also just a leather luggage tag that might last a lifetime than something that’s only for a $29 Apple AirTag – having said that, it does have a dedicated sleeve for an Apple item tracker.
The inner sleeve for AirTag keeps it hidden and protected. Intentionally made with a tight fit to deter possible opportunists from messing with your AirTag. At the end of the day, you’ll only need to access it every once in a while.
It is made of premium full grain leather “will age beautifully” with a “unique patina overtime.” Handmade by “expert craftsman in Spain,” the included “Carry Strap can be attached to almost any bag.”
Okay, that all sounds pretty cool to me, and the thing is clearly a gorgeous piece of design work in my opinion (despite the logo being way too big and bold for my tastes), but it’s also $155, or $131.75 with the launch discount from now through Friday July 5.
That’s $126 more than the AirTag itself. You can almost buy eight AirTags for the price of this one holder. You can almost buy a current-generation iPad 10th Gen for the price of two of them. As my fellow deal finder and data analyst Jedi Simon just put it, this holder needs an AirTag far more than an AirTag needs it.
Harber London does make some other gorgeous leather and rope AirTag holders in the $75 range. They aren’t necessarily the luggage tag style, but they are maybe even nicer in my opinion. Nonetheless, this is one expensive AirTag accessory, one that almost no one will appreciate, and one that will be a real standout piece of kit for those who do. I mean it’s really pretty, just incredibly, even irresponsibly, expensive at the same time.
Maybe just grab one of these affordable options on Amazon or an official Apple leather AirTag holder instead from $9.99?
