There are literally thousands of different options out there, some super affordable, some very much not, so we thought we would list out the options we have used ourselves across both categories to make the buying decision a little bit easier for folks. We have leaned towards brands we have and are using ourselves, as well as those that include applicators or some kind of tool to help for a smooth and frustration-free installation – just make sure you take your time and ensure your screen is squeaky clean beforehand.

SpigenGlasTR EZ FIT Tempered Glass Screen Protector 2 for $19

Spigen happens to make my personal favorite options in the more affordable category. The GlasTR EZ FIT has been a go-to option among many, and likely because you can get two of them for $19 – a fraction of the price of some of the more premium models on this list. I also find its applicator to be particular useful for getting in a really clean installation. 

It is made from “High Alumina Silicate Tempered Glass” for a “highly responsive touch sensitivity with zero lag.”

OtterBox Premium Glass $40

The OtterBox Premium Glass screen protectors for iPhone 16 are now ready to go with the usual 9H surface hardness rating and a fingerprint resistant design. While they are among the more pricey options out there, they are also some of the better options I have tested out over the years. The limited lifetime warranty and 60% recycled build are nice touches too. 

The brand’s OtterBox Glass models are also quite good, and at a lower $30 price point, they just aren’t rated for the same 3-foot drop protection as the more premium models. 

Premium Glass is shatter resistant when dropped from 3ft while letting the vibrant quality of your display shine through. The ultra-thin tempered iPhone 16 Pro glass screen protector is fingerprint resistant and made with more than 60% recycled material.

ZAGG Glass Elite Screen Protector $35

ZAGG has long been a mainstay in the screen protector game, has been a go-to for folks for years, and remains a notable option for iPhone 16. It options includes an install tray to help get the aluminosilicate glass in place bubble-free – I find that even if you see some slight imperfections after installation with the ZAGG models they tend to iron themselves out with time/heat.

Anker HD Screen and Lens Protectors 2 for $22

Anker Easy Fit HD Screen Protector 2 for $19

Anker’s screen protectors aren’t models I have tested out before personally, but I do know folks who swear by them. Sitting somewhere in the mid range in terms of price, the brand is a trusted one by many so we felt its latest iPhone 16 screen protectors deserved a place on our list. We are actually tracking a notable deal on the Easy Fit HD Anker model right now too. 

JETechTempered Glass Film 3 for $6

If you’re not overly picky about the premium quality of your screen protector, perhaps just something you don’t mind replacing when you need to, it doesn’t get much more affordable than the JETech 3-pack here at $2 a pop. While the applicator isn’t quite as useful as some of the others on the list, if you’re careful they will install nicely and get the job done for super cheap.
