Best Buy is now offering Elgato’s latest Stream Deck Neo for $60.99 shipped. This is regularly a $100 control panel that’s now seeing a solid $39 discount. While this isn’t the first time we’re tracking a deal on this particular model, today’s 39% price drop knocks it $24 below its previous all-time low from last month, marking the lowest price we’ve tracked for it since its debut in April. The Stream Deck Neo, in case you’re wondering, is currently fetching $85 at Amazon, with a lighter $15 discount. Head below for more details.
The Stream Deck Neo is essentially a control hub that sits on your desk, offering you as many as 8 customizable keys. Unlike other control panels out there from Elgato, this one also has a display for glanceable info like date and time. You also get two touch-sensitive panels on both sides of this display to cycle through different pages/layouts of customizable keys. On top of using these LCD keys to switch between scenes in OBS Studio or mute/unmute your audio while you’re streaming, you can also use them to, say, control the music or mute yourself on a call.
I use my Stream Deck all the time with a Windows PC and a Mac, and it works as advertised without any issues. It’ll be interesting to see how these control hubs will work with an iPad once the official Stream Deck support comes to iPadOS later this year.
