Today’s Pokémon Presents show is set to go live very soon with nearly a half hour of updates from across the Pokéverse. As we detailed yesterday, today’s show will be the longest in years if data pulled over the last couple days rings true and we could be in for more than just your usual string of updates on already existing Pokémon experiences. Summer Pokémon Presents
We already know there will be some kind of “special Pokémon GO announcement” and with Pokémon Legends: Z-A set tor release on Switch and Switch 2 later this fall, it is sure to make some kind of appearance in today’s show once again – likely some Switch 2 gameplay footage. Just about everyone is expecting to see some updates on TCG Pocket, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon Champions, the ongoing Pokémon animated series and perhaps some other mobile experiences.
As for the surprises, well it’s anyone’s guess. The generation 10 release is seemingly going to get bumped from this year with the launch of Z-A looming but we are certainly hoping for some kind of surprise teaser here. Nintendo might very well keep some of the other major Pokémon reveals for its rumored Direct showcase, but I guess some kind of Switch Online announcement isn’t completely out of the question.
