While the PlayStation Plus 15th anniversary celebration continues today with some new goodies (details below), Sony has also now announced the PS Plus August FREE games. Launching exactly one week from today, the July freebies are on their way out soon with a fresh batch landing on August 5. Check it all out after the jump.
As per usual, you can consider this your one week reminder to go claim the July free games while you still can – all of the details on those are waiting for you right here: Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant. You have until August 4 to add them to your library before they are gone for good.
With that said, we are now looking ahead towards the August PlayStation Plus FREE games. Sony has taken to the official PlayStation Blog to announce that members will be privy to free copies of the brilliant soulslike, Lies of P, as well as Day Z and My Hero One’s Justice 2.
This macabre Soulslike draws its inspiration from an unlikely source: The Adventures of Pinocchio. In this grim reimagining of Carlo Collodi’s treasured tale, Pinocchio is trying to find the mysterious Mr. Geppetto. His journey takes him to Krat, a Belle Époque-inspired city whose humanity has been lost to madness and killer puppets. Pinocchio must battle for survival using a range of weapons and swappable Legion Arms with special abilities. He will also encounter non-hostile characters, but you will have to help him lie to fulfil his dream of becoming human.
All three of the August titles will be live starting on Tuesday next week.

But Sony is revealing a “few more surprises today” including a special set of 15th Anniversary Avatars from titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal…you can score them now at no additional cost too.
