Lectric has launched its Back to School Sale that is offering up to $654 in free gear accompanying e-bike purchases, with a bunch of models seeing increased bundle sizes this time around – plus some select accessory savings too. One such model is the XP Lite 2.0 Long-Range e-bikes that are all coming with $365 in free gear at $999 shipped, while the XP Lite 2.0 JW Long-Range e-bike gets the same bundle at $1,099 shipped. You’d normally have to pay $1,364 and $1,464, respectively for these same packages at full price, but as you’re likely aware by now, the savings come in the form of the bundled gear rather than actual price cuts on the bikes themselves. We’ve been seeing these models getting much smaller bundles between $100 and $200 over the last few months, but now they’re increasing in size just in time for students prepping for their upcoming class commutes. Head below for more on these and the other deals during this sale.
The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 e-bikes are solid options for students who will be living in tight dorm quarters or small apartments over their semesters, as they are the lightest of the brand’s models at just 49 pounds, complete with a foldable design that makes storage far less of a hassle. The standard long-range models sport a 300W rear hub motor (peaking at 819Wh) paired with a 672Wh battery to hit 20 MPH top speeds for up to 80 miles of pedal-assisted travel on a full charge (with five levels to choose from).
And if you were expecting basic features for the price, think again, as they come stocked with 20×2.5-inch slick tires with a 3mm Hippo Skin liner and pre-slimed tubes for anti-puncture resistance so you’re never delayed on your way to class, as well as hydraulic mineral oil brakes for superior stopping power. From there, you’ll also be getting BMX-style folding handlebars, and a full color LCD screen with a USB-A port to top off your phone as you ride. The bundled gear also provides you with add-on upgrades including a rear cargo rack, fenders to go over your tires, an Elite headlight, a suspension seat post, and a water-resistant pannier bag.
Upgrading to the XP Lite 2.0 JW Black Long-Range e-bike for $100 more gives you the same general features and bundled gear, along with a Gates Carbon Drive belt system that promises a longer lifespan over the chain-drive models above, while also providing a quieter, smoother, and oil-free experience. Of course, if you don’t care about bundled gear and just want to save a bit more money, there’s the XP Lite 2.0 Standard e-bikes with a 45-mile travel range that go for $799 shipped, but again, you’ll get no free gear with these.
