Nomad just debuted the new Find My Tracking Card Pro with metal credit card finish [Launch deal]

I have been wondering when one of my favorite accessory brands was going to release a metal Find My Wallet card that actually looks like a premium credit card – Nomad just did. The new Tracking Card Pro just debuted on the official site at $39, or you can score two of them at 10% off. Details await below.

I have already detailed how much I adore the original Nomad Tracking Card – I use it every single day and never leave the house without it. That one, outside of the MagSafe wireless charging, overall reliability, and nice matte finish, has been copied by loads of accessory brands a countless number of times now, but the new Tracking Card Pro really stands out from the pack.

It will begin shipping on December 19 and is now available for pre-order. If it’s anything like its last Tracking Card, it is going to sell out quick.

Tracking Card Pro wirelessly recharges on any Qi or MagSafe charger and lasts up to 16 months on a single charge—50% longer than an AirTag, and over three times as long as other wallet trackers.

Featuring an aluminum body with a polycarbonate finish, the new Tracking Card Pro delivers a more high-end premium charge card vibe than just about any other Find My wallet tracking card I have seen from the big accessory brands.

Features at glance:

  • Color: Black or White
  • Price: $39 – Buy 2 save 10%
  • Battery Life: 16 months
  • Qi wireless rechargeable
  • Polycarbonate and aluminum body
  • 85mm x 54mm x 2.5mm
  • One-third the thickness of an AirTag
  • 15 grams
  • IPX7 waterproof and dustproof

Here’s the thing though, along with the more premium build and wireless charging here, Nomad has loaded it with 16 months of battery life before you’ll even need to pull it out and rest it down on a Qi pad. So what’s the trade off? Well, it appears to be thicker than the standard Find My cards we are used to – Nomad says it is “one-third the thickness of an AirTag.” Maybe the pictures make it look thicker than it is?

Either way I’m stocked for this thing and I certainly have a spare 2.5mm in my card holder for one.
